Let's make muscles and fitness fun! Please click around and enjoy my collection of potentially embarrassing yet somehow significant moments of personal history, tributes to friends and inspirational personalities, and some comments, tips and "tools of the trade" which will hopefully be of value to you or someone you know. I've been entranced with bodybuilding since doing callisthenics in front of the TV with Jack LaLanne in the early 1960s and realizing he had huge arms and shoulders. Seeing the '66 IFBB Mr. Universe competition on TV and discovering there was an entire sport supporting these supermen, bodybuilding became my sport and lifestyle. While branching out to Fitness Instructor in the late '70s, buying my first multi-gym bench and exercise bike in the mid '80s, volunteer YMCA Strength Trainer in the mid '90s, and earning my first karate belt at the turn of the millennium, bodybuilding remained my passion. Though focus slipped a few times over the decades to build a career, I always return to do my best. Workouts are not as savage or frequent, but the pump still feels awesome. Never stop trying! |
